Williams Family Pet Sitting is owned and operated by Shawn & Susan Williams. Shawn's father, Tom Williams, joined the team in 2011.
They are blessed with three dogs, Brody, Annie, and Louie and one cat, Felix. Shawn & Susan's pets are more than just animals, they are members of their family. They enjoy bringing Brody, Annie, and Louie everywhere whether it is to the local swimming pool, dog park, or just simply a ride in Shawn’s “big red truck.” One thing is for sure, Shawn & Susan's lives wouldn’t be the same without their four-legged family members.
The Williams Family welcomed a new addition to the family in 2008, the two-legged kind. Brooke Ren has been raised around both domestic and exotic animals of all kinds, and has truly developed the love and respect for animals that her parents share.
Both Susan and Shawn developed a passion for animals at a young age. As growing adults they worked with both domestic and exotic animals in settings such as veterinary hospitals and outreach facilities where exotic animals were brought to schools to educate children. Susan taught dog obedience classes as well at Petsmart. They met years ago when they both attended Moorpark College's Exotic Animal Training program in southern California. After a 2-year vigorous program, they both graduated with an degree in Exotic Animal Behavior and Management with an emphasis in animal training, conservation, and outreach. Susan also received her Bachelors of Science in Psychology. Additionally, Susan and Shawn began their first successful pet sitting business in 2004 serving southern California as Precious Paws Pet Sitting. Shortly thereafter, the couple relocated to northern California to join the team at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom. Eventually they moved closer to home to transform Precious Paws into A+ Williams Family Pet Sitting. Other places of employment include the Sacramento Zoo and the Star Ecostation.
